Smart Home Installation for New Construction in Austin Point, TX

Pre-wire your Austin Point home for smart technology during construction. 9 Phase 1 builders. 4,700 acres. Your local AV integrator is right around the corner.

Austin Point is the biggest new master-planned community Fort Bend County has seen in 40 years. The Signorelli Company is developing 4,700 acres in Richmond, TX with over 10,000 single-family homes planned. Phase 1 has nine builders on board: Perry Homes, David Weekley, Drees Custom Homes, Ashton Woods, Beazer, CastleRock, Newmark, Westin, and William David. Homes range from the mid-$200s up to the high $900s, with floor plans from about 1,300 to 4,500 square feet.

Mission Digital is your local AV integrator for Austin Point new construction. We work with homeowners during the building process to design and install smart home technology that gets built into the walls, not bolted on after the fact. That means a cleaner look, better performance, and it costs less than trying to retrofit everything later.

Why Pre-Wire During Construction?

The best time to install smart home technology is while your walls are still open. Once drywall goes up, running cable gets expensive and messy.

  • Hidden wiring. All cables run inside walls and ceilings. No visible wire tracks or surface-mounted conduit.
  • Lower cost. Running wire during framing costs a fraction of what it takes to fish cable through finished walls.
  • Room to grow. Even if you don’t activate every system on day one, the wiring is in place for when you’re ready.
  • Reliable connections. Hardwired beats wireless every time for networking, audio, and video.
  • A clean look. In-wall speakers, recessed panels, and hidden cable runs keep your new home looking the way your builder intended.

What We Install

Whole-Home Networking and WiFi

Austin Point homes go up to 4,500 square feet. The router your builder includes isn’t going to cut it. We install enterprise-grade mesh networks with hardwired access points for full coverage, including outdoor areas and garages.

Home Theater and Media Rooms

If you’re planning a dedicated theater room or a solid family room setup, construction is the time. We run HDMI, speaker wire, and power behind the walls where you’ll never see it.

Smart Home Automation

Lighting control, smart thermostats, motorized shades, voice control. All planned into the house from the start instead of patched together after move-in.

Multi-Room Audio

In-ceiling and in-wall speakers in the kitchen, master bath, patio, or pool area. Pre-wiring during construction is the only way to do this cleanly.

Security and Surveillance

Wired cameras are more reliable than battery-powered ones. We run cable to positions around your home during framing so the install is invisible.

Outdoor Entertainment

Austin Point is built around outdoor living with The 1824 pavilion and trails. We install weatherproof speakers, outdoor TVs, and landscape lighting control.

How We Work With Your Builder

We coordinate directly with your builder’s construction manager and electrician. Our low-voltage wiring goes in alongside the electrical rough-in so nothing gets missed.

  1. Design consultation. We look at your floor plan and talk through what you want in the house.
  2. Proposal. You get a detailed plan showing equipment locations, wire runs, and pricing. No surprises.
  3. Pre-wire. We install all cabling during framing, before drywall goes up.
  4. Trim-out. After drywall, we install speakers, access points, camera housings, and faceplates.
  5. Commissioning. Before or at move-in, we connect everything, program your automation scenes, and walk you through the system.

We’ve worked with many of the builders active in Austin Point and throughout Fort Bend County.
